Hội Người Việt Nova Scotia kính mời tất cả quý đồng hương đến chung vui mừng xuân Đinh Hợi 2007 để chúng ta họp mặt, chuyện trò và trao đổi những giây phút ưu tư nhọc nhằn của cuộc sống hàng ngày trong những ngày sống xa quê hương. We kicked off the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival with a 
potluck supper. Children listened to traditional storytelling and participated in skills and talent competitions. The lantern procession was magical and the singing rounded up an evening of family fun and togetherness.

Our Annual Picnic was held at Oakfield Provincial Park 
and despite the rain showers, more than 100 people showed up for a hearty barbecue, card games, kids games and races. There were even a brave few who ventured in the lake for a swim.
June 16-18, 2006
VietNS participated in the Multicultural Festival in 
Dartmouth selling barbecued pork-a-bobs and mango fruitshakes. Many thanks to the 20+ volunteers who showed up in Eastern Passage for the last two weekends to help prepare the meat. They were able to accomplish a lot and remained in good spirits despite the chilly weather. More thanks go out to those who volunteered during the 3-day event. The food and drinks were popular and sold quickly and we were able to raise money for future Association activities. We look forward to preparing for the festival next year with the possibility of adding a cutural center and dance performance to our agenda.
